ALEXANDRA ATABEKIAN

Alexandra Atabekian has been Julio Martinez’s dance partner since 2009. In 2015, Alexandra took over running the studio and expanded its reach to Plzen, where TangoOne holds regular lessons.

Alexandra’s dance style is characterized by immaculate technique, elegance, and playfulness. Her technique has been influenced by acclaimed tango masters and mistresses including: Pablo Veron, Sebastián Arce and Mariana Montes, Mariano Chicho Frúmboli and Juana Sepúlveda, Ariadna Naveira and Fernando Sanchez, Sabrina and Rubén Veliz, Horacio Godoy, Dana Frigoli, Sebastian Achaval, Roxana Suarez, and others.

Having worked as a university lecturer in mathematics for many years, combining her skills with musical education, and ballet proficiency makes Alexandra’s teaching approach precise, gentle, patient, and one of a kind. Alexandra offers lessons in Czech, English, and Russian.
